VACATION Day 4--Church History in Palmyra!

So, on the last day, before we headed back to Connecticut, we decided to drive to Palmyra again, to see some church sites. But, even before we did that, we went to Subway...
This is the best. Everybody has their own look in this picture. Ansley's is my favorite.
And speaking of Ansley, when we came out of Subway, she decided to put her shoes on... "They're on the wrong feet!"
Then we stopped, and took a tour, at the B.O.M. Historic Publication Site.
This was in the building... a poster of all the languages of the Book Of Mormon.
And after the educational part, we went for ice cream! A favorite ice cream shop, called the Chill and Grill, where the smalls are just a bit too large.
A family shot with their small ice creams...
Then, off to the temple!
The Joseph Smith house.
Inside: Joseph's parents' bed.
A shot with the temple in the background.

The man-made fences.
The old sink that's made out of stone. Ally: "Where's the faucet?"
A spinning wheel...
The cool doorknob with the old key in it.
This is one of the informational signs in the Sacred Grove.

After that, we drove to the Hill Cumorah again... This time without a bunch of chairs lined up on the green. So, where do they go after they're put away?
Oh! There they are!
The girls posing on the top of the stage.
Ooh! She's strong! Nobody can carry foam rocks like she can!
Even Ansley can!
Here we are, running up the Hill . It didn't seem so steep all the way down, sitting in those chairs.

Well... That was our trip! It sure was a good one!
